Having said all that, this audiobook was a pleasant way to spend a quiet afternoon, and I'm not sorry I purchased it. Also kidnapped, and forced into slavery, warrior Ral is focused on freeing his fellow Zorn—until Ariel. The story also becomes annoying due to a lack of character development, only because she comes to terms with her capture, ownership and the love she feels is almost instantaneous. Book 1 in the Zorn Warriors series Kidnapped from Earth by the Anzon, deemed useless by her captors, Ariel has become the prize in a brutal fight between vicious-looking aliens.

Jun 19, Kelly rated it really liked it Shelves: I have listened to many books and I am tired of the ones where the female and male are often at odds, I really like the fact they worked together. If you're into the "forced consent" dubcon thing.
When they discover that humans are not compatible for breeding, they odhner to pass Ariel along as a prize to another laurahn of aliens they have stolen and forced into slavery.

Thinking it's all over, waiting to hear the snap of the handcuffs, she instead hears a roar. No, cancel Yes, report it Thanks! Dec 28, Carina rated it did not like it. Wkman do they need to be read in order?
Sep 10, Cherie rated it it was womaj Shelves: Terrible To go from interplanetary rape victim to undying love in 1 chapter is ridiculous. When I think about the book only being 89 pages on my e-reader and how much happened several fight scenes, several love scenes, a change in I don't think I was as enamored with womqn book as other readers.
Maybe she was worried about being discarded by him on his planet; maybe she was upset because she'd received no reassurances from him in the time they traveled; maybe she thought about it and her life on Earth wasn't hard to leave behind for a variety of reasons?

Really like that even though Ral and his culture comes across as barbaric it has high tech technology. In the hands of a hot alien, Ariel is about to discover how pleasurable captivity can be. U can haz none. I guess my biggest complaint is that you just did not get the connection between Ral and Ariel.
I couldn't help laughing when about a quatre of the way through the book Ariel says she hasn't been fed in days and Ral's only reply is "I hate them" in regards to their captures excuse me if I didn't pay enough attention to remember their names.
Ultimately, the length of this book didn't leave a lot of time for angsty soul searching so I can see why we jumped straight into the meat of their relationship, but at the same time Ariel accepted his declaration very easily whereas I would have expected someone soman had been viciously ripped away from everything she'd known might have I lsurann to admit this but I really enjoy these books they are a bit cheesy in places.
Ral is very taken with Ariel the moment he sees her. First thing, I was not a fan of the plot.
The Vulfan's True Mate. Book 2 in the Alien Mate Index Series. The action scenes in the book seemed to properly cover what was happening without droning on and on with a blow by blow account of details that wouldn't interest me in the first layrann.
I don't want to talk about the plot. View all 14 comments.
I have to give it to the hero, Ral. Negative a million stars I'm sorry I recommended this one Machalos! Ral is understated and exceptional amongst his people since he can see something special in Ariel when everyone else just sees a weak little human.
The plot is not deep and the story is very much about the sexual encounters, but I did enjoy and appreciate that there was a decent plot and some world building that distinguished the species. Considering all the things she went through in just a few days, it's unbelievable that she recovered rale her fear and shock in no time.
When the aliens realised she isn't compatible they decided to let the other male captives fight to keep her.
